NYC is not the only one AHS content to have a surprise Disney+ release in the UK either, with season two of the anthology spinoff American Horror Stories suddenly appeared on the streamer earlier this year.
Unlike the main series, which follows a coherent story each season, the spinoff has a different theme for each episode – including a serial killer who turns women into dolls.

The hugely popular main series is also set to run for season 13, following a three-season renewal in January 2020.
After the renewal, FX Chairman John Landgraf declared that AHS creators Ryan Murphy and Brad Falchuk were the “undisputed champions of horror television”, having sustained the show’s success since its inception in 2011.
However, the show’s future beyond season 13 remains unclear.
American Horror Story airs on FX in the US and Disney+ in the UK. Catch up on series 1-8 on Netflix, with seasons 1-9 available for purchase on Prime Video.
