RuPaul’s Drag Race UK Series 4 contestant Jonbers Blonde didn’t win a single badge during her time on the show, but managed to make it all the way to the final and a shared third place.
Speaks exclusively to Digital spyJonbers explained that she believes she made it this far in the competition because she was able to build a strong bond with RuPaul.
“Obviously I’ve had a lot of criticism, but I’ve never had harsh criticism,” she said.
“It was never like, ‘This was absolutely terrible’. It was like, ‘You can grow and improve from this. This is OK. You can go and improve from that’. Maybe that’s my criticism: my drag is OK.

“But you know, I never had any hate, that I loved. I know a lot of people say about this, about the relationship between me and Ru. I think it’s just that she saw that I didn’t take myself very seriously, and I was there to laugh and that I loved the show.
“When someone wants you to do well, you listen to them. And you can also tell when someone is open to interpretation and open to criticism, and no matter what you said to them, it’s not going to hurt them – it’s going to just to make them better.
