England’s sea lions! Gareth Southgate’s players hit the beach, with John Stones, Eric Dier and Jude Bellingham soaking up the sun in Doha ahead of Tuesday’s ‘Battle of Britain’ against Wales
Players from England’s World Cup squad have been spotted relaxing on a beach in Qatar as they prepare for their crunch World Cup clash against Wales.
The Three Lions are on the brink of qualifying for the knock-out stages of the tournament and Gareth Southgate’s side will have to suffer a terrible run of results for them to miss out on the last 16.
Harry Maguire, John Stones and Jude Bellingham were among those spotted heading to the beach by Channel 5, with some of the stars stripping off their tops and enjoying some time off in the sea ahead of the game.

At the end of the shoot, Stones, Dier and Bellingham stripped down to their shorts and got a little closer to the water.
Ramsdale and Pope are caught relaxing halfway through the clip, while other players wait for them to catch up while Stones and Wilson share a joke.
Eager fans are seen asking Phillips for a photo, which the Manchester City midfielder kindly obliges.
Dier and Stones then apparently see the camera, but don’t let the filming distract them as they enjoy some much needed downtime.
