‘Amateur Hour’: FOX Sports blasted by soccer fans AGAIN after showing wrong World Cup round of 16 draw with Spain v Croatia and Japan v Morocco in knockout

FOX Sports was once again criticized by soccer fans after sharing an incorrect Round-of-16 bracket on live TV Friday.

The bracket incorrectly showed Spain playing Croatia and Morocco playing Japan.

The correct bracket would have shown Morocco playing Spain and Japan playing Croatia.

And football fans were quick to call out the network on social media after seeing the network’s latest blunder. The network’s coverage has already dropped out several times, and the start of the second half of Denmark’s clash with Tunisia was missed.

One viewer wrote on Twitter: ‘There is at least one mistake on every broadcast, wrong tables are common.’

As one fan pointed out, this isn’t the first time fans have been bothered by one of the broadcaster’s mistakes.

American fans have previously harped on FOX’s coverage after the feed went out several times during the pregame build-up to the USA vs. England, leaving viewers staring at a blank screen for minutes at a time.

FOX Sports, which has the sole English-language rights in the US, aired the pre-match build-up ahead of US Group B rivals England’s match against Iran as part of its double-header before Gregg Berhalter’s team kicked off at 2pm ET.

However, the live feed went dark several times, including when it reached commentators Ian Darke and USMNT legend Landon Donovan for their pre-match analysis.

Football supporters who had gotten up early to watch the game at 8 a.m. ET, were quick to rip into the broadcaster, calling it “Mickey Mouse” coverage.

Fans hit back at the network after FOX made them miss several seconds of the second half of the Tunisia-Denmark match due to an excessively long commercial break.

The fans who took to social media to voice their grievances described the network’s coverage as “amateur” and “pathetic.”
