Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have announced their next Netflix docuseries, Live to lead.
The latest project from the pair follows Harry and Meghanwhich was published in two volumes earlier this month.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex will act as executive producers and contributors to the seven-part series, which is inspired by the legacy of Nelson Mandela.

The docu-series, which will be released on Netflix on December 31, will feature interviews with climate activist Greta Thunberg, the late lawyer and US Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg and New Zealand Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern.
Created in partnership with the Nelson Mandela Foundation, the tagline for the project reads: “Extraordinary leaders reflect on their legacies and share messages of courage, compassion, humility, hope and generosity.
“Inspired by the iconic legacy of Nelson Mandela, Live to Lead highlights the core values, daily disciplines and guiding principles that leaders use to motivate others and create meaningful change.”

Other interviewees include social justice lawyer Bryan Stevenson, South African rugby player Siya Kolisi and feminist icon Gloria Steinem, as well as Harry and Meghan.
At the end of the trailer for the docu-series, Harry proclaimed: “This was inspired by Nelson Mandela, who once said ‘What counts in life is not just the fact that we have lived.’ It’s about people who have made brave choices,” with Meghan adding: “It’s what difference we’ve made to other people’s lives that will determine the meaning of the life we live.”
Their previous collaboration with the streaming service, Harry and Meghanproved to be a huge success with viewers, with 2.4 million people tuning in to watch the series on its release day (December 8).
These numbers dwarfed the ratings for the season five premiere The crownNetflix’s semi-fictionalized account of the royal family.
Live to lead will be released on Netflix on December 31. Harry and Meghan is available to stream now on the same service.
