The Flash’s Stephen Amell wants to return for the final season

The flash will be back on the air soon, and Stephen Amell has shared that he would love to be in on the action.

Amell played Oliver Quinn (Green Arrow) on the show that started the entire Arrowverse, and while his story ended on that show, he’s willing to dive back in for The flashits ninth and final season.

The actor talked about his desire to return to the CW show during an Instagram Live with fans, though he also confirmed that he hadn’t been asked to get in shape … yet.

During Instagram Live, he said (via CBR): “People ask me if I’m going to come back for The flash last season. I guess you’ll just have to watch. Haven’t been asked, but it would be fun.

Earlier this year, the actor also touched on what might draw him back into the fold.

Asked if he would like to come back, he said: “Oh, sure. I owe so much to the people at DC, The CW and Warner Bros Television. I love the character so much and I only love it more now that it’s coming. up in two years since we ended the show…”

He also added, “So if I can ever be of any help, if I can be of service to the Arrowverse in any way, shape or form, or better yet take it to a new place, which I think would be more interesting route to go, be it in a limited capacity or on another platform, maybe one where we could show blood, that would be really cool.”

So it looks like Amell will have a bloodier, higher-stakes Season 9 to cap off ten years with the show if he picks up the bow and arrow again.

The flash airs on The CW in the US. Sky Showcase and NOW broadcast the show in the UK.
